Transportation

The Mission Trip in 2022 included addressing some of the transportation needs at the Village.  With Project funds raised in 2021, we were able to purchase 4 motorcycles.  These motorcycles will be used for helping the caregivers and some teachers to get to and from their homes to the Village on a daily basis.  Since the each-way trip is between 45-90 min for them, this will provide substantial time and monetary savings, since walking is not always feasible, especially in the rainy season (the bikes have attachments to shield the riders during those times).  When not in use for staff transportation, they will be used to provide those in the local community lost cost transport that will support their on-going use (fuel, maintenance, etc.).
